Newcastle disease is a group of infectious diseases.It is an acute, febrile, septic and highly contactable infectious disease of poultry caused by Newcastle disease virus.Characterized by high fever, respiratory distress, dysentery, nervous disorders, mucosal and plasma membrane hemorrhage.With high morbidity and mortality, it is a major infectious disease that jeopardizes the poultry industry.Newcastle disease virus can pass through the digestive tract or respiratory tract, but also through the conjunctiva, injured skin and cloacal mucosa invasion of the organism, the virus again within 24h quickly in the invasion site reproduction, and then into the bloodstream to spread to the whole body, causing viremia.At this time, the virus adsorbed on the cells, so that the red blood cells agglutination, swelling, followed by hemolysis.

| Recovery

The recovery of Chicken NDV-Ab spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Chicken NDV-Ab and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
